What exactly is server-side GTM, and why do I need it?
Server-side GTM moves your tracking from your visitor's browser to a server you control. Ad blockers can't touch it, iOS can't block it, Safari's ITP doesn't affect it. The result: your ad platforms receive the conversion data they've been missing — so they optimize toward real buyers instead of incomplete signals.
Will this break my existing Google Tag Manager setup?
No. GetCAPI runs alongside your browser-side GTM. You use both — browser GTM for what works, server-side for what doesn't. We walk you through the connection in onboarding. Most customers are fully live without touching their existing setup.
Is this GDPR compliant? Where is my data stored?
