GetCAPI connects via the BigCommerce API using your store's API credentials (Client ID, Access Token, and Store Hash). Once connected, it automatically registers webhooks for order and checkout events. No app install or code changes required on your storefront.
What BigCommerce events does GetCAPI track?
GetCAPI captures order creation (Purchase), cart conversion (InitiateCheckout), and customer registration events. Product view and add-to-cart events are available via GetCAPI's lightweight JavaScript snippet or the sGTM template.
Does it work with BigCommerce headless / Stencil themes?
Yes. Server-side webhook events work regardless of your frontend. For Stencil themes, standard themes, and headless setups (Next.js Commerce, Gatsby, etc.), order and checkout events are captured the same way via BigCommerce webhooks.
