When will the Lightspeed integration be available?
The Lightspeed integration is currently in development. Join the waitlist to get notified when it launches and receive early access. We expect to release the beta in the coming weeks.
Which Lightspeed products will be supported?
We plan to support both Lightspeed eCom (e-commerce) and Lightspeed Retail (POS). The initial release will focus on eCom, with POS support following shortly after. Both the X-Series and legacy platforms are on our roadmap.
Can I track in-store POS sales alongside online conversions?
Yes, that is one of the key benefits. Lightspeed's omnichannel capabilities combined with GetCAPI will allow you to send both online and in-store purchase events to your ad platforms. This gives Facebook, Google, and TikTok a complete view of your conversions for better ad optimization.
Can I use GetCAPI with Lightspeed today without the official integration?
Yes. You can use GetCAPI's webhook endpoint to receive events from Lightspeed today. Set up webhooks in your Lightspeed account that POST event data to your GetCAPI webhook URL. The upcoming integration will simply automate this process.
Is this useful for brick-and-mortar retailers who also sell online?
Absolutely. If you run both physical stores and an online shop through Lightspeed, GetCAPI will unify your conversion data. Ad platforms will see the full picture — including customers who clicked an ad online but purchased in-store — leading to better attribution and smarter ad spend.
